The report filed by the passport authorities be kept with the record.

2. The petitioner has filed the present writ application praying for an order directing the authorities for grant of passport. During the pendency of the case, the passport authorities have proceeded the matter for grant of passport of the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the passport authorities have submitted the report dated June 10, 2026 wherein it reveals that on receipt of the clearance police report, passport bearing no. AU034031 has been printed on June 10, 2026 and it will be dispatched to the petitioner as early as possible.

4. Considered the report submitted by the passport authorities.

5. It is found that the passport authorities have already printed the passport in favour of the petitioner which is

valid up to June 9, 2036, thus there is nothing remain in the present writ application.

6. WPA 12443 of 2026 is disposed of.

7. Ms. Jayita Dhar Chakraborty appearing for the State.

8. The appearance of the learned advocate for the State may be regularized from June 10, 2026.

9. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
