1. The petitioner's application for transfer stood rejected by the school authority on 2nd April, 2022 on the ground that the petitioner does not fall within the 10% of teachers eligible for transfer.

2. It appears that a long time has elapsed from the date of rejection of the petitioner's prayer. The staff strength of the school must have changed within these four years' time period.

3. In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to apply offline afresh seeking transfer.

4. In the event such application is made, the same shall be considered by the respective authorities in accordance with law at the earliest. Fate of the petitioner's application shall be made known to him. Suspension of the Utsashree portal will not stand in the way of the respondents to consider the application made by the petitioner offline seeking transfer.

5. If the application of the petitioner stands allowed, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken by the authority without any further delay.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
