Grievance of the petitioner is that police are not registering the written complaint dated August 1, 2021 and not proceeding thereon.

Private respondent and State are represented. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the complaint dated August 1, 2021 was registered as a First Information Report and that the investigations with regard thereto are in progress.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner seeks interim protection. Apparently, the petitioner executed and registered a deed in favour of the private respondent in respect of an immovable property. It is now being claimed by the

petitioner that the private respondent after attaining majority, is trying to evict the petitioner from such property.

The disputes as narrated above, are essentially civil in nature and between the private parties. As the police are investigating on the complaint dated August 1, 2021 and the disputes between the private parties are civil in nature, further interference is not called for. WPA 12856 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings. (Debangsu Basak, J.)
