Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the act and over action of the police authorities and to that effect information was furnished on 21.05.2025. According to the petitioner the private respondents are beneficiary of the illegal acts of the police authorities.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. The report is not inspiring as the main issue of grievance has not been addressed by the Inspector-in-Charge, Nakashipara Police Station. Learned advocate for the private respondent has raised certain technical issues regarding the maintainability of the writ petition. However, having considered that the representation dated 21.05.2025

was also furnished before the Superintendent of Police, Nadia, I direct the Superintendent of Police, Nadia to either consider the representation himself or through an authorized Officer who should not be below the rank of SDPO/Additional SP/DSP and assess regarding the correctness of the allegations. Thereafter inform the outcome of his decision within a period of fortnight from the date of such decision being taken.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 12403 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
