For the Petitioner Ms. Sukanya Bhattacharyya, Mr. Mirza Firoj Ahmed Begg ...For the State The petitioner challenges an order dated October 19, 2020 whereby the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 6th Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas issued production warrant against the petitioner. Mr. Mukteswar Maity, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits that a warrant has been issued against the petitioner by the learned Sessions Judge in the Court below. Since the petitioner is in custody in connection with another case, the order needs to be recalled.

It appears that the petitioner is in jail custody in the Central Correctional Home, Purnia, Bihar in connection with another case being Special Case No. 22 of 2017 (Dagrua P.S. Matter No. 203/2017). Since the petitioner could not be produced in connection with the present case, the learned Judge, by the impugned order, directed the Superintendent, Central Correctional Home, Purnia, Bihar to

produce the petitioner on the next date of hearing by issuance of a fresh production warrant.

There is no illegality in the order dated October 20, 2019. Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 1635 of 2021 is dismissed.
