It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner that subsequent to filing of the writ petition, Khardah Police Station Case No.519 of 2022 dated June 28, 2022 under Sections 447/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code was started. The investigating officer visited the place of occurrence, prepared the draft sketch map, recorded statements under Sections 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of certain witnesses. The investigation is going on expeditiously. The police report is taken on record. Under such circumstances, nothing further remains to be decided in the writ petition. The Officer-in-Charge, Khardah Police Station, shall ensure that the investigating

officer conducts the investigation in a free, fair and impartial manner and reaches the same to its logical conclusion, without unnecessary delay.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
