Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the owner of the property in question. The private respondents are her son, daughter-in-law and other relatives. The private respondents have been trying to disturb the peaceful possession of the property by the petitioner. They have been trying to grab such property and wanton atrocities were committed on the petitioner. Despite lodging a complaint to the police authority, no effective step was taken.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits as follows. On the complaint of the petitioner, a specific FIR has been lodged. Some accused have been arrested. In fact, after completion of investigation, charge sheet has also been submitted.

It appears that the police have acted in respect of the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

Therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

However, the police authority shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place. Surveillance shall include frequent visits by police patrol. With these observations, WPA 12296 of 2023 is disposed of.
