This revisional application was preferred in respect of G.R. Case No. 333 of 2004 arising out of Pursurah Police Station Case No. 45 of 2004 dated 18.06.2004 under Sections 147/498A/326/307/312/314/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code and also a challenge in respect of the order dated 12.02.2007 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Arambagh, Hooghly in connection with Sessions Case No. 8 of 2007 wherein the learned court was pleased to remand the case records to the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arambagh, Hooghly for disposal of the case.

This revisional application was admitted on 19.06.2007 wherein a co-ordinate Bench of this Court was pleased to stay the order passed by the learned Fast Track Court, Arambagh, Hooghly in connection with Sessions Case No. 8 of 2007. As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Faria Hossain, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the

State, is directed to represent the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities. Having regard to the fact that more than 14 years have passed and no efforts were taken for hearing of this revisional application, I do not think that it would be fit and proper to keep this revisional application pending after such a long period of time. As such, no interference is called for. The petitioner would be at liberty to canvass her grievance at the appropriate stage of the proceedings before the jurisdictional court.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1942 of 2007 is dismissed. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.

All pending connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
