The petitioner is a life convict and claims to have been in custody for more than 14 years. He prays for premature release.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents is yet to receive instruction in the matter. Without the instruction of the State authority, the Court is not in a position to decide the issue conclusively.

The instant writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the respondent no. 4 to forward the prayer of the petitioner to the concerned respondent authority for considering his prayer for premature release in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 4.
A decision shall be taken and communicated to the petitioner positively within a period of sixty days from the date of communication of this order. 5.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
