Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that they are staying at the property and they apprehend that they may be dispossessed because of the torture inflicted upon them by the private respondents.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that the accusations of torture are embellished and manufactured and no specific incident has been brought to the notice of the police authorities which could make out any offence. On the other hand, Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appears for the State and has submitted a report. It has been pointed out that there are case

and counter-cases initiated at the instance of the petitioner as well as the private respondents. In both the cases, on completion of investigation, charge sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court.

State also submits that a further case has been drawn up against the private respondents on the basis of a complaint filed by the petitioner. Be that as it may, the repeated cases which have been brought to the notice of this Court by the State reflects that the petitioner and the private respondents are at loggerhead. Police authorities would ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or any untoward incident resulting from the strained relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations WPA 12087 of 2025 is disposed of.
