And In Re : Alibaddi Molla ..... petitioner Mr. Debarshi Brahma ... for the petitioner Mr. T. D. Nandy Mr. Antarikhya Basu ... for the State Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that further detention of the petitioner is not required since police submitted charge sheet. Petitioner is of advanced age. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that 24 bottles of Phensedyl was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the commercial quantity of contraband was recovered from the possession of the petitioner, we are unable to grant prayer for bail to the petitioner.

The Court is informed that the chemical examination report is yet to be submitted delaying the submission of the supplementary charge-sheet. In such circumstances, it would

be appropriate to direct the investigating authority to obtain the chemical examination report on urgent basis and to submit it before the jurisdictional court as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected and the application being CRM 5431 of 2021 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Ananda Kumar Mukherjee, J.)
