(Through Video Conference) gd/ssd Mr. Sourav Prasanna Mukherjee ..for the Petitioners Mr. Jahar Lal De, Ms. Smita Das Dey ..for the State The allegation of the petitioners in the present petition is that for purchasing the benches in the Lodna Mankhamar Vivekananda Vidyamandir High School, P.O. Mankhamar, P.S. Onda, District Bankura two cheques amounting to Rs.50,000/- total were given by one Guinram Sutradhar, owner of the furniture house and the amount withdrawn on the basis of the cheques was taken back by the President of the school and thereafter no steps have been taken for purchasing the benches for the school, as a result of which, the interest of the school is suffering.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the matter is required to be enquired by the respondent no.5/District Inspector of Schools (SE), Bankura.

Learned counsel for the State has also fairly submitted that if the petitioners approach the

respondent no.5, then the matter will be looked into. In these circumstances, we dispose of the present petition granting liberty to the petitioners to file an appropriate representation along with all the relevant documents before the respondent no.5. If such a representation is filed by the petitioners, the same will be duly looked into and appropriate order thereon will be passed in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the representation.
