The present revisional application was preferred challenging the order dated 03.10.2020 passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tehatta, Nadia. The said order was passed in respect of an application under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. wherein the learned Magistrate on perusal of the materials was pleased to direct the Officer-in-Charge of Palashipara Police Station to investigate after treating the petition of complaint as FIR. Consequently, the case was registered as Palashipara P.S. Case No.292 of 2020. A further prayer has been advanced for quashing the said FIR. The said FIR was registered in the year 2020 for the alleged offence under Section 306/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner or for the State.

Accordingly, Mr. Anwar Hossain, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Having considered more than one and a half years have been passed for registration of the FIR and the present position of the case or the outcome of the

investigation not being informed before this Court, I am of the view at this belated stage that there is no scope for interference with regard to the grievance expressed by the petitioner.

Thus, CRR 1645 of 2021 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
