Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, despite the Regional Transport Authority, Bankura having agreed to grant permit for plying the petitioners' vehicle on a route which covers the districts of Bankura as well as Purulia and having sought a reciprocal gesture from the Regional Transport Authority, Purulia by way of issuance of a No Objection Certificate (NOC), the Purulia authorities are sitting tight over the matter. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent authorities submits, on instruction, that on June 17, 2022, the concerned board of the Regional Transport Authority, Bankura, has decided to expedite the pending matters in respect of the reciprocal NOC's. In such view of the matter, WPA No. 11676 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the Regional Transport Authority, Purulia, to consider the issue of

granting NOC for the purpose of plying of the vehicle of the petitioners, in terms of the request made by the Regional Transport Authority, Bankura as annexed to the writ petition, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four weeks from date, in accordance with law, upon compliance of all necessary formalities by the petitioners.

Needless to say, on such NOC being issued by the Regional Transport Authority, Purulia, upon satisfaction of compliance of all formalities by the petitioners, the Regional Transport Authority, Bankura, shall take expeditious steps for finalization of the process of grant of permit to the petitioners There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
