We have considered the materials on record. Statement of wife recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C shows petitioner had fired at the victim resulting in his death. On his leading statement weapon of offence i.e. pistol was recovered.

Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
