Pursuant to the order dated 18th June, 2026 copies of relevant documents are produced before this Court by the learned advocate representing the State Bank of India and same are taken on record.

It is found that Station House Officer of Cyber Crime Police Station, Ghaziabad, DistrictCommissionerate Ghaziabad, UP issued notice under relevant provisions of BNSS, 2023 and instructed SBI Nodal Cyber Cell , Patna to put on hold Rs.10,000/- in connection with account No. 38877423336 being the account of the petitioner. 3.

Copy of the notice issued under Section 168 read with Section 94 of BNSS, 2023 dated 23rd June, 2026 indicates alleged involvement of aforesaid

bank account of the petitioner to the extent of Rs.10,000/-.

In view of aforesaid notice dated 23rd June, 2026 of the Investigating Agency in connection with alleged cyber fraud reported on National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCCRP) steps taken by the bank authorities by marking the aforesaid bank account of the petitioner as lien to the extent of Rs.10,000/- appears to be vindicated.

However, concerned authority of State Bank of India is directed to permit the petitioner to operate his aforesaid bank account excluding Rs.10,000/-.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
