1. Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. By presenting this writ petition, petitioner has prayed for direction upon the concerned police authorities to take steps based on the complaint dated 10th May, 2026 lodged by the petitioner.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 17th June, of Inspector-in-Charge, Mongalkote Police Station, Purba Bardhaman and same is taken on record. Copies of communication

dated 17th June, 2026 are made over to learned advocates representing the petitioner and respondent nos. 5 to 12.

It appears from said communication that based on the complaint of the petitioner a criminal prosecution being Mongalkote Police Station Case No. 159 of 2026 dated 16th May, 2026 was initiated under certain provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and on completing investigation charge-sheet being Mongalkote Police Station Charge Sheet No.

123/2026 dated 11th June, 2026 was filed.

5. In view of filing of charge-sheet on completion of investigation, at this stage no further order need be passed on this writ petition and writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking. (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.)
