We note nine witnesses have been examined and another 11 witnesses are proposed to be examined. In view of the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the murder and as trial has substantially progressed, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. We, however, request the trial court to conduct the trial on a day to day basis and conclude the same at an early date preferably within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment.
