The police report is taken on record. It appears that upon receipt of the subsequent complaint of the petitioner, Kakdwip Police Station Case No.251 of 2022 dated August 18, 2022, under Sections 447/427/188/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code was registered. The investigation is going on. Under such circumstances, nothing survives for a decision in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. The police authorities shall conduct the investigation in a free, fair an impartial manner and bring the same to its logical conclusion in accordance with law.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
