The petitioner is the husband in Matrimonial Suit No. 358 of 2022, pending before the learned Additional District Judge at Kalyani, Nadia. It appears that only on January 10, 2023, the opposite party/wife appeared in the suit by filing a Vokalatnama and prayed for time to file written statement. The suit is at the nascent stage and the opposite party has neither filed a written statement nor has the opposite party filed the application for maintenance pendente lite.

At this stage, it would not be proper for the court to direct expeditious disposal of the suit. However, the learned court is requested to ensure that parties are vigilant and diligent in pursuing the suit.

The revisional application is accordingly disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Parties are to act on the server copy of this order.
