State and private respondents are represented. On a query from the Court, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the State conducted a preliminary enquiry on a complaint dated April 9, 2021 and that the police are yet to register the complaint as First Information Report.

Perusal of the complaint dated April 9, 2021 demonstrates that there are allegations of commission of cognizable offences.

In such circumstances, the police will register the complaint dated April 9, as First Information Report and will proceed to investigate thereon in accordance with law.

Further interference of the Writ Court, at this stage, is not called for.

Accordingly, the writ application being WPA 12934 of 2021 is disposed of.
