The petitioner complains that public land has been encroached, thereby causing obstruction to his egress and ingress.

The State respondent submits that the Block Development Officer has directed the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer to demarcate the encroached portion of land in order to ascertain whether the land belongs to the Public Works Department or the National Highway Authority and after such demarcation is complete, necessary steps shall be taken by the appropriate authority.

Therefore, nothing remains in the present writ petition.

WPA 12961 of 2021 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be not admitted.
