Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in detention in excess of 5 and 1⁄2 years without the possibility of trial concluding soon. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there is hardly any change in the circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection of bail.

The ongoing pandemic situation is the primary reason for non-conclusion of the trial expeditiously and there is hardly any change in the circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection warranting the Court to grant prayer for bail to the petitioner.
