Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was a long standing love relationship between the petitioner and the victim. The petitioner is innocent. His custodial interrogation is not required.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record. There appears to be a love affair between the parties which may have turned sour subsequently. The victim lady has refused medical examination.

Considering the material on record and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner Jitendra Kumar Singh be released on bail on furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to provision under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. The petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional Court and pray for regular bail within two weeks from date. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of.
