Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that so far as the petitioner no.1 is concerned the recovery was for 256 grams of brown sugar and from the petitioner no.2, 250 grams of brown sugar were recovered. Learned advocate submits that there has hardly been any progress in the case since the petitioners were arrested in the month of November, 2024, as such, on any stringent conditions the petitioners may be released on bail. Learned advocate for the State submits that charges have already been framed and the evidence of the PW.1 is in progress. Having considered that the total quantum seized in the present case is 506 grams, I am of the opinion that prima facie the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. Accordingly, CRM(NDPS)668 of 2025 is dismissed. Steps be taken by the prosecution to expedite the

progress of the trial.
