College. It is the grievance of the petitioner that to fill up some teaching posts, the college undertook a recruitment process inviting applications from the eligible candidates. The names of the aspirants were sent to the university by a letter dated September 1, 2023 for holding an interview.

Thereafter, repeated reminders were given by the college to the university for holding the interview. The university, however, has failed to conduct any interview and complete the selection process. Mr. Amitabrata Roy, learned advocate representing the university submits that the university will hold the interview after ongoing Loksabha General Election, 2024.

In that view of the matter, this writ application is disposed of with a direction upon the university to conduct the interview and complete the selection process within a period of two months from date. Accordingly, WPA 13396 of 2024 is disposed of.
