Mr. Amartya Pal ...for the State Ms. Sanjukta Basu Mallick ...for the respondent no. 1 This writ petition is directed against inaction on the part of the statutory respondents including the respondent no. 1 in taking expeditious steps pursuant to a show cause notice dated May 11, 2022.

The respondent authorities had issued the impugned show cause notice against the petitioner on May 11, 2022.

It is submitted on behalf of the State Authorities that by an order dated October 30, 2024, the respondent no. 1 has now issued a final order and the show cause proceedings have come to a finality.

In view of the subsequent events, which have transpired after the filing of the writ petition and

the communication dated October 30, 2024, nothing survives in this writ petition.

Accordingly, W.P.A. No. 12393 of 2023 stands dismissed without, however, any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
