The writ petitioner has applied for an educational loan for pursuing the GNM Nursing course with the SEA School of Nursing at Bangalore, Karnataka.

Admittedly, the said institution is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. The writ petitioner's application could not be considered any further since the bank found certain discrepancy in the admission documents.

It is also submitted that the Raipur Bazar Branch, State Bank of India had no way of ascertaining the correctness of the process of admission of the writ petitioner.

This Court finds that the writ petitioner has sought educational loans for the very fact that she is coming from poor financial background. It is not

expected that the petitioner would be able to take out the application from the Raipur Bazar Branch can send it to a branch nearer at Bangalore.

This Court notices that the bank has not communicated a no-objection to grant loan to the writ petitioner.

In that view of the matter, the State Bank of India, Raipur Bazar Branch is directed to forward the petitioner's application along with documents to a branch of the State Bank of India, nearest to the concerned institution for further action at their end. Communication to the writ petitioner shall be made by e-mail and/or by other electronic means. A suitable decision shall be taken by the State Bank of India as regards the writ petitioner's application for educational loans.

It is expected that the aforesaid process and final decision of the bank shall be communicated to the writ petitioner within a period of 45 days from date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
