It is submitted on behalf of the alleged contemnor that the order under contempt passed on 15th February, 2022 was carried in appeal before the Hon'ble Division Bench and a review application was also subsequently filed before the Hon'ble Division Bench.

By an order passed on 14th September, 2022, the Hon'ble Division Bench has modified the order passed by this Court on 15th February, 2022 by directing the Executive Officer of Daspur-I Panchayat Samiti to take up the issue of payment of compensation to the writ petitioners and act in terms of the direction contained in the order dated February 15, 2022 passed by this Court and complete the exercise within two months from the date of communication of this order.

In view of the above, nothing further remains in the present contempt application and the contempt application being CPAN 570 of 2022 is disposed of.
