Petitioner renews the prayer for bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there is hardly any possibility of the trial concluding any time soon.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the trial is ongoing. Today is the date fixed for the purpose of recording the evidence of the prosecution.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that there is hardly any material change in circumstances subsequent to the earlier order of rejection and considering the fact that trial is in progress, we are unable to enlarge the petitioner on bail. However, we request the learned trial court to fix consecutive dates of trial and make every endeavour to adhere to the same. The trial court is also requested not to grant any unnecessary adjournments to any of the parties. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. 5453 of 2021 is dismissed.
