It is submitted by the petitioner that in view of the Memorandum dated 14th September, 2023 issued by the respondent authorities, nothing survives in this writ petition. Under such circumstances, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case and all questions including the question of interest remains to be decided before the Appropriate Authority in accordance with law. With the aforesaid directions WPA 12412 of 2023, stands disposed of.
