It appears from the said affidavit of compliance that the Prodhan has passed an order directing the private respondents to demolish the building within seven days from that date and intimate the Prodhan about the same. The order further mentions that in the event, the persons responsible fail to demolish the same, then the Panchayat will demolish the building and necessary cost shall be recovered from them. From the aforesaid order passed by the Prodhan on 1st April, 2022, it appears that the order of the Court has substantially been complied with, albeit belatedly.

In view of the above, there is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt proceeding any further. The contempt application stands disposed of.

The petitioner will be at liberty to pray for implementation of the order passed by the Prodhan,, in accordance with law, before the appropriate forum, if so advised.

The alleged contemnor is personally present in Court. His personal appearance stands dispensed with.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon completion of usual legal formalities.
