1. The grievance of the petitioner is that the public funds have been misutilised in the garb of public work being done.

2. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that detailed representation has been submitted to the District Magistrate on April 13, 2023 along with several documents and photographs which have been enclosed therewith. However, till date the District Magistrate has not communicated his decision on the representation to the petitioner.

3. Since the petitioner has submitted a detailed representation alleging misutilisation of public fund along with certain annexures in support of the allegations contained in the said representation, this Court directs the District Magistrate, South 24-

Parganas, being the 5th respondent, to consider the representation dated April 13, 2023 upon giving an opportunity of hearing to the writ petitioner or his authorized representative and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order and to communicate the same to the petitioner.

4. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order.

5. At the time of hearing it will be open to the petitioner to produce additional documents in support of the allegations contained in the representation.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
