It has been submitted by Ms. Sukanya Bhattacharyya, learned advocate for the State that though the date for recording of evidence was fixed in the year 2019, till date no witnesses has been examined.

The case is pending for a long period of time, and there are eleven witnesses to be examined by the prosecution. The revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bongaon, North 24 Parganas., to make an endeavour to conclude the trial within a period of one and a half years from the resumption of the

normal functioning of the Court, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the parties.

The revisional application being C.R.R. 1652 of 2020 is, thus, disposed of.
