By order dated 8th December, 2023, the Court granted leave to the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner to implead the English Bazar Municipality as party respondent in the instant writ petition. The same impleadment could not be done within the time as specified by the Court. Prayer has been made by the learned advocate for the petitioner for extending the time for making the necessary impleadment.

The advocate-on-record of the petitioner is permitted to implead the English Bazar Municipality and its Board of Councillors as party respondent by today.
