The present application has been filed jointly by the petitioners and the respondent no.3, inter alia, praying for disposal of the writ petition being WPA 10972 of 2014 on the basis of the terms of settlement dated 27th June 2024.

Today at the time of hearing, Mr. Dutta, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners placed before this Court two several cheques in favour of the respondent no. 3 drawn on Axis Bank Ltd., Paddapukur Branch, Kolkata amounting to Rs.6,88,155/- and Rs.1,81,341/- both dated 4th July 2024. It appears that the aforesaid cheques have been tendered on the basis of the terms of settlement, in full and final settlement of the claim of the respondent no.3. Let copies of the aforesaid cheques be retained with the record.

Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition being WPA 10972 of 2014 and the connected application being CAN 4 of 2024 are accordingly disposed of on the basis of the settlement dated 27th June 2024.
