Since no one appeared on behalf of the State I request Mr. Malay Kumar Singh, learned Advocate, who normally represents the State, to assist the Court in this matter. The appearance of Mr. Singh may be regularized by the office of the learned Government Pleader.

From the prayer made in this writ-petition, as appear from prayer (a), there is no necessity to pass any fresh or further order, since the issue has already been decided by the judgment of this Court passed in WPA 9597 of 2019 (Aktarul Islam Kayal & Ors. Vs. The State of West Bengal & Ors.) on December 11, 2019 in a bunch of writ-petitions.

I am of the view that if the case of the petitioners stand on the same footing as of the petitioners in the aforesaid case, the present petitioners may avail benefit of the said judgment. With this observation, WPA 11310 of 2019 is disposed of.
