For the Respondent Nos. 1 to 5 The grievance of the petitioner is that, the representation of the petitioner dated March 15, 2023 Annexure-P7 at page 56 to the writ petition has not been considered by the respondent no.2. The principal allegation of the petitioner was that, the petitioner was an elected member of the gram Panchayat at the relevant point of time when the representation was submitted. Mr. Manas Kumar Das, learned advocate appears for the petitioner.
Mr. Lalit Mohan Mahata, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent nos. 1 to 5 submits that, the last election of the Panchayat had been held on July 8, 2023 and the result was declared on July 11, 2023. Therefore, this representation has lost its force.
None appears for the concerned Panchayat and its Prodhan.
In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, as recorded above, this Court is of the view that, this representation being pre-election one has lost its force since the next election had already been held and the result had already been declared. 8As such, this writ petition has lost its force.
Accordingly, WPA 12466 of stands dismissed, without any order as to costs.
