The petitioner complains that the hearing which was conducted by the Special Officer (Building) of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to deal with the allegation of unauthorized construction at the Premises No. 34E, S.N.Roy Road, Ward No. 118, Borough XIII being D/Case No. 27-D/XIII/21-22 has not been concluded till date.

It appears from the hearing notice dated December 16, 2021 that January 24, 2022 was the date fixed for hearing. Final order is yet to be passed in the matter.

The present writ petition is disposed of by directing the concerned Special Officer (Building) to conclude the proceeding strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve

weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

The said officer shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to all the parties immediately thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.
