Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of anticipatory bail of the accused persons having been rejected in CRM (A) 2089/2025 no efforts have been taken by the Investigating Agency to trace out the accused persons in connection with Haldia Police Station case no. 66/2025 dated 26.03.2025.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that some efforts have been taken by issuing notices. However, having regard to the fact that there is a change of circumstance pursuant to the Hon'ble High Court having rejected the anticipatory bail application, as such custodial interrogation may be warranted in connection with the instant case.

Having regard to the same, I direct that the SDPO/Additional SP in-charge of Haldia Police Station will monitor henceforth the case keeping in mind the

observations which have been made above and submit a progress report before the learned Magistrate in seisin of the case as well as inform and/or notify the progress of the investigation to the present petitioner, since 90 days have been passed from the registration of the said case. With the aforesaid observations WPA 12236 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
