By such order, the learned Tribunal noted that the writ petitioners were trying to change course during the hearing of the Original Application. The stand taken by the writ petitioners were not appreciated. The Tribunal found the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer did not possess any power to act on such representation.

In course of hearing of the present writ petition, learned advocate appearing for the writ petitioners submitted that there was a mistake in filing the Original Application and that the writ petitioners seek to prefer an appeal.

Learned advocate appearing for the writ petitioners sought time to file affidavit to such effect. The writ petitioners are yet to file any affidavit claiming that there was any mistake committed either by the writ petitioners or by the learned advocate.

We perused the records of the case. We are of the view that there was a deliberate attempt on the part of the writ petitioners to mislead the Tribunal and if possible the High Court also in the present writ petition. The conduct of the writ petitioners cannot be said to be a "mistake" as claimed.

In such circumstances, we find not merit in the present writ petition.

W.P.L.R.T. 67 of 2023 is dismissed.
