Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that there is slow progress in the matter since the last rejection of bail by this Court.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had absconded for ten years. There are materials connecting him with the murder. Trial is in progress.

Under such circumstances, we do not consider it prudent to release the petitioner on bail.
