It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner being the cousin brother of the husband of the de facto complainant challenged the legality and validity of the order dated 18th May, 2022

passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Alipore in CGR No.2956 of 2021 arising out of Bhowanipur Police Station Case No.226 of 2021 under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. By passing the impugned order dated 18th May, 2022 the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Alipore issued search warrant for conducting search and seizure in the house of the petitioner for recovery of 'stridhan' articles.

During the pendency of the instant revision, the Investigating Officer has already implemented the search warrant but no 'stridhan' property was recovered from his house.

In view of such circumstances, it is submitted by Mr. Ganguly, learned senior counsel that the instant revision has become infructuous.

In view of such circumstances, the instant revision be dropped being infructuous.
