The petitioner has passed the Madhyamik Pariksha (Secondary Examination, 2023) conducted by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education with an outstanding result but he is not satisfied with the marks given to him in the Life Science paper.

A representation of the father of the petitioner praying re-evaluation of the answer script of the said subject of his son is pending consideration before the Deputy Secretary (Examination), West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, the respondent no.5 herein.

The said respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation within a

period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

WPA 13509 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
