Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that at her instance, Daulatabad Police Station Case No.77 of was registered for investigation and on conclusion of investigation police authorities have submitted charge-sheet before the jurisdictional court.

However, the private respondents are pressurising the petitioner to withdraw the case. Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that, apart from the present criminal case, there are pending civil suit between the parties.

Be that as it may, if the petitioner is being pressurised to withdraw the case, petitioner will file an application before the jurisdictional court under the relevant provisions of the Witnesses Protection

Scheme. Learned court would call for a threat perception report and on an analysis of the same pass necessary directions under the Witnesses Protection Scheme, 2018.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 12499 of 2023 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
