Commercial quantity of phensedyl containing codeine was recovered from the house of the petitioner as would appear from the seizure list. In view of the restrictions in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for bail. CRM (NDPS) 820 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.

However, we are told that the petitioner is in custody for 355 days. Six out of sixteen witnesses have been examined. We request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial as much as possible and bring the same to its logical conclusion at the earliest.
