Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks leave to retire from the brief. The prayer sought for is allowed.

The Court has perused the averments made in the writ petition and has heard the submissions made on behalf of the respondents. The Court is convinced that the writ petition is absolutely mala fide and has been filed with the intention to harass and pressurize the respondent authorities for extraneous consideration. The

petition has been filed with vested interest for unlawful gain. The same is an abuse of the process of law. In view of the above, the writ petition stands dismissed with costs assessed at Rs. 25,000/-(TwentyFive Thousand) only to be paid by the petitioner in the office of the West Bengal State Legal Services Authority. The matter is directed to appear in the list on November 7, 2022 to ascertain as to whether the costs have been paid or not.
