Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that although the petitioner had applied for certain specific information as per the query at page 17 of the present writ petition dated July 13, 2021, the first authority, in the communication dated October 5, 2021, gave a purported reply thereto, which furnished some other information, which does not pertain at all to the questions of the petitioner.

The petitioner, being thus aggrieved, moved the appellate authority, upon which the appellate authority, by its order dated December 13, 2021, directed the first authority, that is, the

BL&LRO, Minakhan, North 24 Parganas, to provide information to the petitioner as sought by him within fifteen days of receiving the order. It is argued that despite such specific order being communicated, the BL&LRO has not yet complied with the same. The petitioner, accordingly, seeks an implementation of the said order.

In view of the innocuous nature of the prayer, no further service of notice is directed on the respondents.

WPA No. 12515 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 6, that is the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Minakhan, North 24 Parganas, to furnish the information as directed by the appellate authority under the Right to Information Act, 2005 by implementation of the order dated December 13, 2021 passed by the appellate authority, that is, the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, North 24 Parganas,, Barasat, in Appeal Case No. 36 of 2021 (Annexed at page 27 of the writ petition).

Such compliance shall be carried out by the BL&LRO as expeditiously as possible, positively within fifteen days from the date of

communication of a server copy of this order on the respondent no. 6. The respondent no. 6 shall act on such server copy of this order without insisting upon prior production of a certified copy of this order.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
