Mr. Ashok Kumar Jha Ms. Moumita Mondal ... ... for the petitioner Mr. Subhabrata Datta Mr. Sanatan Panja ... ... for the State The allegation in this public interest petition is in respect of various alleged irregularities and illegalities which have been committed in floating the tenders for various works under MGNREGA in Ganga Prasad Gram Panchayat. There are certain allegations in respect of construction of roads and its verification and failure of the concerned respondents to discharge their duties in this regard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage has submitted that the petitioner has filed the mass representation dated 11th March, 2022 before the respondent no.2, District Magistrate, Malda but the said representation has not been decided till now. Learned counsel for the State has no objection in considering the representation.

In spite of the previous opportunity no affidavit-inopposition has been filed by the respondent no.8 till now. Hence, we deem it proper to dispose of the present petition directing the respondent no.2 to duly consider the petitioner's representation dated 11th March, 2022

after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties in accordance with law as expeditiously as possibly, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
