The writ application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of GA-34/2024 pending before the respondent no. 3.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that due to the pendency of the appeal which was mainly filed challenging the ground of territorial jurisdiction and other issues, the initial gratuity case being No. G-07/2024 has not been disposed of till date by the Controlling Authority and as such it is submitted that the petitioner is suffering prejudice. 4.

On hearing the learned counsels for the parties, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the respondent no. 3 the Deputy Labour Commissioner, Chandannagar being the appellate authority herein shall make all endeavour to dispose of the appeal expeditiously preferably within 30 working days from the date of communication of this order in

accordance with law by hearing all the parties and passing a reasoned order.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
